Story behind the piece:
This klezmer style piece has been through various versions over the years. It was originally written for Tubalaté (two tubas and two euphoniums), who may well play it some time.
The idea was then taken up by Lorin Swelk, who turned it into this beautiful brass band version.
It works great on the electronic version, but I have yet to convince myself of a playable version for live brass band.
Meanwhile, I reworked the piece for saxophone quartet.
Awaiting a live performance, here is also an electronic rendering of the sax quartet version.
